Video Team
We are currently immersed in an audio/video culture and age. DVD's, MTV, video games, streaming internet--everyone, it seems, is hungry for the attention of our eyes and ears. Why is that? It's because secular society has realized the communicative effectiveness and emotional influence of the precise and deliberate fusion of the audible sound and visual image. Commercial industry, through A/V media, can make us crave a fat-basted beef patty, sob uncontrollably over a talking pig, and even lash out in violence toward some alleged injustice. Here at Grace, we believe that this same characteristic--inspiration to action--which for so long in our society has been used to promote corporate greed and spin doctoring, can be redeemed and employed by the church of Christ, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to inspire change, commitment, enthusiasm, and worship. Video ministers at Grace have ample opportunity to create video productions of an exciting and diverse sort. As a member of the Video Ministry there are a wide variety of roles that you will assume--scriptwriter, editor, shoot crew, and graphic technician are all assigned on a weekly basis.
