Prospective CM Volunteers

Childrens Ministry

We value many things in potential volunteers. We have high expectations. The most important attribute we look for in a person is that they are in love with God. Volunteers are expected to be continually growing in their relationships with God. Everything else flows naturally out of a love relationship with Him. For years, we've used the acronym FAT to describe characteristics of people who typically thrive in ministry. They need to be faithful with all areas of their life that God has given them to steward. They also need to be available. Children's Ministry is time intensive and we need to know if you're willing and able to devote your extra time to our ministry. Lastly, volunteers need to be teachable. Are you willing to relearn what you think you know? Can you follow someone else's leadership? Can you adapt to meet the different needs of the kids you will be asked to minister to? If you're still interested in learning more about our ministry then check out our promotional video, see our values in the profile listed below, and if you know you want to take steps to joining the Children's Ministry then fill out the online application form.

We value children here at Grace. Desiring children to experience the living God is implanted in the hearts of every children's ministry volunteer. We are committed to help be the reason children choose Christ in a world that desperately desires them to focus their attention elsewhere.
